Live Edge Executive Desk

A custom live edge Black Walnut executive desk, commissioned as part of a complete office build. The slab forms the working surface and turns down to become the desk's end, the live edge preserved across the full length and into the waterfall.

The surrounding office cabinetry was built by Gillpatrick Woodworks, our parent shop. Desk and cabinetry were designed and constructed together as a single commission, by the same craftsmen, under the same roof.

Black Walnut: dense and dimensionally stable, prized for the rich chocolate heartwood and the natural gradient where it meets the lighter sapwood at the edge. The right wood for a piece that will be touched, used, and seen every day.
